2. This is the phosphor issue - phosphor bands were used as a security measure and to help sort mail. These bands are almost invisible to the naked eye but can be seen if you hold the stamps up to the light.
3. These stamps are mounted mint, which means they have remnants of a stamp hinge on the back. This does not affect the front of the stamp.
